It has now been revealed that Bourne Free, Bournemouth's Pride Festival, will be taking over the seaside resort for the weekend of Friday 9th until Sunday 11th of July 2010!

The 2009 event attracted thousands of people from across the UK with the “Circus” themed parade around the town, extended Live Show and Street Party in the triangle.

Even more is planned for 2010, with the Bourne Free Committee already working hard to put together a packed programme of entertainment and has finalised details of a unique new theme.

It has been announced that the theme for 2010 is “Wild, Wild West”. Expect to see sexy cowboys and cowgirls, outrageous red-Indians, and even the odd pantomime horse for good measure.

Pete Lovegrove, Chairman, comments "every year Bourne Free gets bigger and better and 2010 will be no exception". He adds, "this year being Bournemouth’s 200th year we are planning a great event right in the heart of the town to encourage everyone to join in the celebration of diversity that Bournemouth has to offer."
